I’m teaching Zora to cover her face with her paws. I started by putting a small piece of tape on her nose, then clicking when she rubbed it off. She quickly got the idea that rubbing her face got a click and a reward.

Now after only a couple of sessions she’s rubbing her face without the need for tape. And earning lots of rewards.

We do this with her sitting up on the recliner, so I can catch the movement I want without bending over so much. This is easier on my back. I tried to get a couple of photos today, they are a little blurry, but I think the basic idea comes across.
